Coit takes biomass such as forestry cuttings, chicken litter or other waste material and pyrolyse them in a pyrolysis plant. Biochar locks the carbon away, preventing it from polluting the atmosphere. As the sun, forestry and water are key factor in this process, it felt appropriate to tie all of them into the final logo. The final branding identity uses natural earth-tones to reflect its environmental focus. Coit is a company owned by ESB, Ireland.
